Position: Care Assistant
Location: British Columbia
Shift: morning, evening, overnight
Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Looking for caregivers in Mission! We are looking for caregivers with ceiling lift/hoyer lift experience for a client we have.

Hard-working caregivers earn long hours! We are looking for a variety of shifts, so we work with caregivers’ schedules! We are a busy company and find clients for caregivers to see on a regular basis.

As you take on regular clients, you increase your hours.

We have relevant and ongoing educational training modules to help you grow your knowledge while you work.

Requirements:

• Compatible with smartphones for use during shifts to clock in and out and make notes of visits.
• Complete a criminal background check.
• Consistent work performance and assiduity that our customers can rely on.
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional behavior and respectful attitude.
• Ability to perform basic cleaning and meal preparation tasks.
• Home support assistant certification is preferred (but not required).
• Flexible availability.
• Previous experience as a caregiver or carer for the elderly.
• 2+ personal references.
• WE DO NOT HIRE INDIVIDUALS FROM OVERSEAS.

The caregiver’s tasks include:

• Meal preparation and planning.
• Cleaning service (including laundry).
• Personal care + hygiene.
• Medication routines.
• Dementia care.
• Quality time + companionship.
• Shifts vary from morning, afternoon, evening and overnight.
• Using a ceiling lift/hoyer lift to transfer from bed to toilet, etc.
